Meet the Band

Lead Singer / Songwriter
Amanda Munro (she/her/hers)
Amanda has been writing songs and playing piano since she was ten, but got serious about music at age 20 when she picked up a guitar for the first time in the mountains of Colombia. As a solo singer/songwriter, she made her musical debut as a queer Americana artist with her first EP “Clean Slate” in 2020 which was nominated for Best Folk/Acoustic Album at the San Diego Music Awards. Since then, she has embarked on a number of musical projects.

Lead Guitar
Simeon Kulp (he/him/his)
Simeon thinks music is pretty neat, especially music that moves you and gets you to move. Amanda and Simeon met and first started collaborating in 2020. He wants to play in a rock and roll band when he grows up.

Bass
Colin Ruhland (he/him/his)
Like most bass players, Colin started on the guitar. When his friends in jazz band recruited him for the open role of bassist, he faked it until he made it! Since then, Colin has played in rock bands like Mosh Daddy in Nashville before joining MOONROW when he moved to Portland, OR.

Drums
Phillip Andrews (he/him/his)
Phillip started playing Rock Band drums in 7th grade and thought, “Hey, I wonder if I could do this for real,” so he got his first drum kit that Christmas. He got his start in live music playing at church, and then in college playing funk and jazz.
